How it works

Stick, deal, play. Then somebody's in trouble.

Stick

Put a Zaragata sticker on the back of each card in a deck you already own, or open a pack of Zaragata cards that come ready. It takes a few minutes, once.

Every loaded card can carry any rule. You do not pick which card gets which: that happens when you deal.
Deal

Open the app and pick a rule set: one somebody else wrote, one you made, or a mix. It can be kind or merciless. Press Deal, and every card gets a rule.

Then deal the cards the way you always do. Nobody knows what is on a secret card until it is played, and a public one is there for everybody to see coming.
Play

Play your game exactly as you know it. When somebody plays a loaded card, tap it on the phone, and a character announces its rule to the whole table. It is rarely good news for them.

Rules that last stay in play, and Zaragata keeps track of them so nobody has to argue.

Friends write too

At any time, send your friends a link and let them write rules about each other. They do not need the app for that, and you keep the good ones.

Your cards stay set up. Pick different rules and deal again: the same cards, a different night.
