The cards
Two ways to load a game with rules. Both play the same.
Zaragata cards
Cards made for this. They come ready, so there is nothing to stick and nothing to set up: open the pack, deal them in with your game, and every one can carry a rule.
- As many as you like go into a deck.
- They look like Zaragata cards, so a table can see a loaded one coming, even if nobody knows what it says.
Best for a table that wants to open a box and start, or one that wants plenty of loaded cards without any fuss.
Stickers on your own cards
Put a sticker on the back of each card in a deck you already own, and it becomes a Zaragata deck. Any cards, any size, any game on your shelf.
- It takes a few minutes, once, and then the deck stays loaded.
- Put one on every card and nobody can tell which are loaded: in a hand of seven, any of them might be the one.
- A sticker can be seen and felt if somebody goes looking, and it makes a card a little thicker.
Best for a deck you love, or a game that already has its own cards.
What stays the same
The app, the rule sets and the voices are the same either way. A card carries no rule of its own: the rules come from the rule set you deal, so the same cards can play a gentle night this week and a merciless one the next.
